| MUSEUM OF THE WEEK:
Manchester Historic Association
Millyard Museum
The Millyard Museum is housed in Mill No. 3 at the corner of Commercial and Pleasant Streets in the historic Amoskeag Millyard. The Museum features the permanent exhibit, Woven in Time: 11,000 Years at Amoskeag Falls, that tells the story of Manchester and the people who have lived and worked here.

The exhibit features selections from the MHA's collection of over 600,000 documents and artifacts, including some old favorites like the 1844 "Torrent # 5" hand tub fire pumper and the neon sign from Sundial Shoes. There are activity stations for children, videos, a model of the Millyard made entirely of Legos, looms from the mills, an animated explanation of how water power works and a re-creation of Elm Street on a Thursday night - complete with lighted arches, "cobblestone" pavement, a variety of stores and the State Theatre gallery for changing exhibits.

THIS WEEK'S "BUSINESS OF THE WEEK":
GOT GHOSTS?

New Hampshire Paranormal is a non-profit organization based out of New Hampshire. Although it cannot be explained, paranormal phenomena are reported by a vast number of credible people around the globe. All too often, these reports are dismissed as delusion, fabrication, or the result of an overactive imagination. This can be a cause of genuine distress for those who experience such occurrences, especially in the home or workplace.
This company's aim is to investigate and document paranormal phenomena in a no-nonsense, nonjudgmental fashion, helping and educating others in the process. While they are based in southern New Hampshire, they do travel throughout New England and its surrounding areas.
If you are having a problem that seems to be paranormal in nature, New Hampshire Paranormal can help you with advice and an open ear or figure out what is going on by investigating. If you have a situation that is more than you can handle or just want to talk to someone about what you are experiencing, they are only an email away. All client information is kept strictly confidential.
During their investigations, first and foremost, they attempt to find a mundane cause for the goings-on. Secondly, they make an effort to capture evidence of paranormal activity. Paranormal investigation is not an exact science, but they definitely try.
